A little bit about us...

• We are a 'free roaming' Dog establishment- meaning all dogs are out and about from 6:30am -  playing together💕

• We are a family run business, living on the property - we are on the premises 24/7

• We believe in giving all dogs the opportunity to learn how to interact with each other with us by their side, as well as free playing left up to the imagination of your pooch

• We trial all dogs who attend MK, ensuring that we are giving your friendly doggo a pleasant experience, by being surrounded by other like minded kind hearted doggos

• At Meroo Kennels, dogs are in their natural environment with complete access to the great outdoors at all times, surrounded by farm life and beautiful bird song 

Dog Day Care

How a day looks for a Day Care Doggo
Drop me off between 8-930am with all of my pals who attend with me each week. I like that I get to see familiar faces and remember the fun I had with them last week! While I'm here, I get to practice how to socialise with other pooches and read their cues if they aren't keen to play like I am. I get to run as fast as I can, chasing the ball or tumbling around with other energetic poochies and benefit from daily exercise if Mum or Dad are working hard and won't get to walk me in the afternoon. I also get lots of pats and cuddles from the gang while I'm here! Pick me up between 3-5pm and I'll be tuckered out ready for dinner and bed.

We  group dogs by size with a 'medium to large' dog environment and a 'small dog' environment. This allows us to ensure that everyone has a great time at Meroo Kennels. Whether your dog is a high energy, action-packed pooch or would rather enjoy laying about, relaxing and minding their own business; there is plenty of space for your doggo to do whatever he chooses.

Requirements:

• Must be 16 weeks of age or over 

• Have had all age-appropriate vaccinations 

• Protected by flea and tick preventative 

• Will be screened for dog and people friendliness. (trial process)

Overnight Accomodation

How a day looks for a boarding pooch:
Drop me off in the morning between 8-930am so that I can freely roam the environment all day long, sniffing, playing, chasing or finding a nice spot in the shade or sun to have a snooze.
Around 5pm dinner is served, and at this time of year we are back out to playing and mingling until just before the sun goes down. All the while having access to a bed if I'm feeling full and sleepy.
Off to my cozy bed I go because mum & dad bought my soft bed or blanket along to snuggle up with. The following morning, I'm let out when the sun comes up to do it all over again!

Each guest has their own individual 'kennel', with daily housekeeping.
Our boarding accommodations are spacious enough for doggo siblings 1-3 per kennel (depending on size of pooch)
